Udupi : E-Fitness presents official Mr. Karnataka 2016 and Udupi 2016 State level Body Building competitions in association with Association of Bodybuilders Udupi District which is organized by Mr. Milind Salian National Judge and Mr. Jason Dias, Entrepreneur on Saturday, 27thFebruary, 2016 at Shamili Hall, Udupi at 4 pm and which is conducted by Karnataka Association of Body Builders ® under the Aegis of IBBF.

Speaking with media persons at Udupi press club on Wednesday, 24th February, John Rebello Working President of KABB said that there will be senior competition in 8 body weight categories 55,60,65,70,75,80,85 and above 85 respectively. First five winners of each category will be awarded by total Rs. 25,000. First prize winner of every category will quality for Mr. Karnataka 2016 tittle round. Tittle winner will be awarded with Cash Rs. One lakh and trophy. Runner up will be awarded Rs. 40,000 in cash and trophy.

Men above 40 years of age can compete in the Masters Category which will be further divided into three groups. i.e. 40-50 years, 50-60 years and above 60 years. First five winners of each category will be awarded with total Rs. 25,000 each category. Master Title winner will be awarded with Rs. 25,000 cash and trophy. Physically challenged competition will be held in two weight categories below 60 kg and above 60 kg. First five winners of each category wil be awarded Rs. 22,000. Title winner will get a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. There will be best poser competition and winner will get Rs. 10,000 cash.

At the same venue, Mr. Udupi 2016 District level Body Building competition will be held in the morning 10.30 am. First five winners of each category are eligible for Mr. Karnataka 2016 State level Body Building competition. First five place winners in each group of Mr. Udupi will get certificates and top three will get Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. Mr Udupi title winner will be awarded with trophy and runner up will be awarded with trophy.

He said that Dr. G. Shankar G. Shankar Family Trust, Ambalpady Udupi will inaugurate the ceremony at 4pm on Saturday, 27th February. Sri T. Sathish U Pai of Manipal Media Network Ltd will light the lamp and Sri Sri Laxmivara Theertha Swami of Shiroor Mutt, Udupi will bless the occasion.
