Strong security arrangements in Udupi ahead of convention

Udupi: Elabrotive ecurity arrangements have been made for the Dharma Samsad from November 24 to 26, at Udupi.

SP Dr Sanjeev Patil said on that as many as 2,000 police from the district and 14,000 from outside district would be deployed. Four ASPs, 12 Dy SPs and 105 PSIs would be engaged in the security service.

The vehicles from Mangaluru would be parked at MJC grounds, while those coming from Kundapura should be parked at Bailur and the vehicles from Karkala should be parked at Beedenagudde grounds.

Light vehicles and two wheelers may be parked at Rajangana parking area and Christian High School grounds.
