Student robbed in Vamanjoor

Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, a studnet Atul Chandran, hailing from Kerala and pursuing Engineering studies in the city, was robbed in Vamanjoor, Mangaluru.

Atul had put on sale his camera on the OLX mobile app a few days ago. In response, he got a call on Saturday night asking him to come to Vamajoor on Sunday to strike a deal.
Five persons are said to have arrived at the appointed hour and place. While pretending to have a look at the camera, they reportedly put him in the car.

They drove him to Manjalpade in Moodushedde, robbed him of his camera and cash from his pocket and abandoned him there.

A case has filed in the rural police station at Maroli.
