Sullia man jailed for uploading obscene pics of lover

Mangaluru,: A man from Morangallu in Aletty, Sullia has been sentenced to one year of rigorous imprisonment by the Sixth Additional District and Sessions Court for posting pictures of himself and his girlfriend in compromising position in Facebook. A fine of Rs 12000 has also been imposed on him.

The convict is Kusumadhar (30). The victim who hailed from Sullia and was in a relationship with Kusumadhar had distanced himself from him after she learnt that he did not operate a tea stall at Bengaluru airport as told by him, but worked in a hotel.

Angered over this, Kusumadhar had blackmailed the woman and had demanded Rs 5 lakh if the obscene video clips should not be http://canaranews.com/uploaded on FB. When the girl did not pay heed to his demand, Kusumadhar had http://canaranews.com/uploaded the video.
