Summer camp held at Shakthi Residential School

Mangaluru: A summer camp was held at Shakthi Residential School. 71 students from different schools in the city indulged in creative activities and were successful in bringing out the hidden talents and skills in them.

Well known resource persons took part in the camp and guided in the activities. Students flew kites, created cartoons, learnt dances, foam art, saffron art, creations from clay, art from paper, singing etc.

Dinesh Hoolla, John Chandran, P N Acharya Manipal, Sachita Nandagopal, Nadashree, Sudhir Kavooru, Permude Mohan Kumar, Veena Srinivas, Venky Falimar, Poornesh, Rathnavathi J Baikady, Kamalakar Shet, Eshle, Poornima Shetty, Ashwitha, Sharath Shetty, Sharmila Alva and others guided the participants of the camp.

On the concluding day, students displayed items prepared by them. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel watched and appreciated the programme.

School administration, administration officials Janardhan Achar, P U college lecturer Prabhaker G S, chief advisor Ramesh K and school administration official Nasim Banu cooperated.
