Swachhta Abhiyan held at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: National Service Scheme of St Philomena College Puttur in association with Rotary Club Puttur Central organized Swachhta Abhiyan in and around College Campus on February 8, 2020.

The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro inaugurated the programme. The President of Rotary Club Puttur Central Rtn. Santhosh Shetty expressed his best wishes. The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha delivered his presidential address.

The Secretary of Rotary Club Puttur Central Rtn. Mohammed Rafeek, members Rtn. Naveenchandra Naik, Rtn. Ashok Naik, Rtn. Bharathi S Rai and Rtn. Ashraf graced the occasion.

This Abhiyan began in the campus and continued in places like Kaverikatte, Darbe circle, Fr Patrao circle, Bypass area and Mukrampady. The volunteers of NSS and the members of Students’ Council took part in this programme. The wastes collected by these 180 volunteers have been disposed with the help of Puttur City Muncipal Council.

The NSS Progrmme Officers Mr Dinakar Anchan and Ms Shashiprabha B coordinated the programme.
