Bengaluru: Swami Dwarakanath Teerth Charitable Trust was inaugurated by Dr P Dayananda Pai on January 15 at Dwarakanath Bhavan, here. He addressed the gathering and focussed on senior citizen care and old age.
Ullas Kamath, JMD- Jyothy Laboratories Ltd, spoke on 'women empowerment and education'. The subject of 'Insurance and 24x7 helpline' was elucidated by Amarnath Kamath. Dr Ranganath Nayak cardiologist- M/S Vikram Hospitals explained healthcare and regular check-ups. The vision of the trust was read out by trustee A Annappa Kamath. Canara Bank GM, Ravindra Bhandary assured his support by way of the bank's CSR activity to the trust. Upendra Nayak, president- GSB Samaj also affirmed his support. Kumble Narasimha Prabhu was master of the ceremony.
Advisor of the trust, Ramadas Kamath U, executive vice president, Infosys Ltd, said that the Trust will focus on healthcare and 5 leading hospitals of Bengaluru have tied up and signed an MOU to extend support towards concessional rates to all.
