“Swaraksha for Women”

Mangaluru: Sparkle, Department of MCA organized a guest lecture on “SWARAKSHA FOR WOMEN”-a self defence training for all girls. Mr.Karthik S Kateel , A martial artist was invited as a speaker. Dr. Dilip Kumar K, Principal, Shree Devi Institute of Technology and Prof. Nethravathi P.S, Head of Department, MCA, SDIT witnessed the event. Mrs. Shobhalatha, M/o Karthik S Kateel also part of the talk. Mr. Karthik spoke about how women’s should save from harassments which happen for them from surroundings.

 

He also demonstrated various techniques to rescue ourselves in critical situations. He also mentioned that one should be quick and should not loose presence of mind while implementing these tricks on right situations. All the students actively participated and got benefitted.
