Swimming Competition organized jointly by P.U. Educational Board, Dakshina Kannada and St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur

P.U. Educational Board, Dakshina kannada and St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur jointly organized District level Swimming Competition at Dr Shivrama Karanth Balavana Swimming Pool ,Puttur.

The Inaugural programme began by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries.

The President and the inaugurator Rev. Fr Stany Pinto , Campus Director said , "Swimming is a sport which needs physical ability". He said that if you don't succeed in your first attempt, just think that you have kept your first step towards success.

The Guest of Honour, Mr Partha Varanashi ,Director, Varanashi Swimming Academy said, "There is a way to be the best in the world. India is an unique country where the people have potential to go ahead".

Mrs Sathyalatha M Rai , Dept of English, introduced the Guest of Honour, Mr Partha Varanashi to the gathering.

The Physical Directors, Mr Elias Pinto and Mr Rajesh Mooliya, St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur organized the competition.

The Principal, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta welcomed the gathering. Suma D ( Dept of English) proposed vote of thanks . Dr Asha Savithri (Dept of Hindi )compered the programme.
