Talents Day celebrated at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Talents Day was celebrated at St Philomena College, Puttur on August 31, 2015 in college auditorium.

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha declared the Talents Day open and said, ‘Everyone has a unique talent or skill at which they truly excel. Today is the day to embrace that ability and show them off.” He also encouraged them to take part in extra-curricular activities so that they can enhance their talents proving it to be beneficial in their future. He wished the students to be the ambassadors of Indian culture.

The Student Welfare Officer Mrs. Bharathi Rai, the President of the Students Council Mr. Rakesh Rao, the secretary Mr. Jijo Joseph and the joint secretary Ms. Fathima Shirin were present on this occasion. The Student Welfare Officer Dr. vijaya Kumar M compered the programme.

The talents day is designed to allow all students to exhibit their special interest in dancing, singing, acting or some other area. The participants in groups and solo came up with mind-blowing performances. There were different forms of dance, songs in different languages, mime and plays bringing out different themes. It was a chance for the students to shine.

Puttur: Talents Day was celebrated at St Philomena College, Puttur on January 17, 2020 in college auditorium.

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha declared the Talents Day open and said, ‘Talents day provides an opportunity to exhibit the hidden talents. It is the duty of everyone to maintain utmost discipline. Discipline is the basic requirement in higher education.’

The Student Welfare Officer Mrs. Bharathi S Rai, President of the Students Council Mr. Nithin H R, Secretary Mr. Abdul Razak and Joint secretary Ms. Sujna S Rai were present on this occasion.

The Student Welfare Officer Dr. K Chandrashekar compered the programme.
