Talents Day concluded at St Philomena PU College Puttur

Puttur: The concluding session of inter class cultural competition ‘Talents Day 2016-17’ of St Philomena Pre University Puttur was held in college auditorium.

The Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo complimented the judges of the competition, namely, Vidwan Girish B, Vidhushi Anusha Hegde and Design Engineer Mr. Bhaskar Kulkarni.

On behalf of the judges, Vidwan Girish B congratulated the participants for their marvelous performance in talents day. He also complimented the institution for supporting the students to exhibit their talents in various programmes.

In this ‘Talents Day’ competition 17 teams from various classes have participated. The championship of this competition was bagged by second year PCMB ‘E’ section. The second year PCMB ‘B” section emerged as the runners. The first year PCMB ‘A’ section and the second year SEBA ‘A’ section shared the third prize. The first year SCBA secured the consolation prize. The team of second year PCMC and PCMS has obtained a special prize for their impressive performance.

The convenor Mrs. Dimple J Fernandes, coconvenors Mrs. Sumana Prashanth, Mrs. Manjula K, Mrs. Viola Pereira, Mrs. Laveena Santhmayor, Mr. Sandesh Lobo, Mr. Vijay Maxim D’Souza and Mr. Rahul coordinated the programme.
