Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mijar, Moodbidri conducted Technical Session on ‘Tactics of Challenger Companies’ by Ms. Laura Cairns, Management Consultant, KPMG, London.

Department of Business Administration, Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mijar, Moodbidri conducted invited guest lecture on ‘Tactics of Challenger Companies’ by Ms. Laura Cairns, Management Consultant, KPMG, London. The function was presided by Dean Prof. P. Ramakrishna Chadaga and attended by Faculty and students.

She spoke about tactics for Challenger Companies – How small companies and startups can compete with large companies. She narrated the way Tesla challenged the established passenger car manufacturers like BMW, Mercedes, Audi etc. The way Ikea, P & G, Unilever used similar strategy to enter the new markets was also explained.
