The PTA Annual General Meeting of Milagres English Schools held

Udupi: The General Body meeting of the Parent Teachers Association of Milagres English Medium Schools was held at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall, Kallianpur on Saturday, 27th August, 2016.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo, Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, Kallianpur presided over the meeting.

Sadanand, Lawyer and also President of PTA was the resource person. He pointed out the responsibility of the parents during the students’ growth and the role of the parents while learning in the school. The parents should know their responsibility rather than safety of their child.

Rev Fr. Victor Fernandes, Principal of Milagres English Schools welcomed the gathered. Smt. Mariette Sequeira placed the minutes of PTA meeting which was held last year. Meanwhile, Veera D’Silva Headmistress, of Milagres English Higher Primary School placed a brief report of the School for the academic year 2015/16.

Very Rev Fr. Stany Lobo in his presiding address said that indeed it will be the responsibility of parents and others for the growth of child. He outlined the achievements of the Milagres English School and appreciated the faculty for their marvelous efforts to grow the child with care and knowledge.

Felcy Veigas, Secretary of PTA proposed vote of thanks. Cecilia Lewis compered the programme. Reshma Alva, President of PTA High School section, Santhosh Kotian, Mariette Sequeira, Felcy Veigas were present on the dais. More than eight hundred parents were present during the Annual General Meeting.
