Udupi: The workshop on Solid Waste Management held at Kallianpur Panchayat Community Hall, Nejar, near Kallianpur on Tuesday, 1st March, 2016 which was organized by 30th Kallianpur Grama Panchayat.

Pushpa S. Kotian, Kallianpur Panchayat President presided the occasion and inaugurated the workshop by lighting the lamp.

Rajesh Shenoy, Panchayat Nodel Officer gave keynote address. He said that it is the right of the every citizen to utilize the scope from various resources. We should think about our role in the development and growth of the village and our nation as well. He also said that every citizen should think about the contribution to the development.

Mrs. Meera, District Swatchh Bharath commission official and district coordinator was the resource person.

Pushpa S. Kotian, Janardhan Thonse, Zilla Panchayat member, Dhananjaya Kunder, Taluk Panchayat member, Smt. Lilly, Vice President of Kallianpur Grama Panchayat, Chandrashekar Secretary, Suresh Naik, P.D.O., Kumari Swetha Hedloor Accounts Assistant, Chandrashekar Resource person, Sathish Naik former President of Kallianpur Grama Panchayat, Kallianpur Grama Panchayat members and others were present on the dais.
