Three students who consumed ganja arrested

Mangaluru: Three students, who had apparently consumed ganja, were arrested by the personnel of rural police station near a college at Valachil on Friday January 13. The arrested teenagers have been identified as Shashikiran (19), a resident of Kelarai, Neermarga, Pratheeksh (19) from Bajal, and Imanish (19), resident of Capitanio.

Police personnel raided the spot based on reliable information. The three students started to run at the sight of the policemen. When they were chased and questioned, on the face of it, the police realized that they had indeed consumed ganja. On being subject to medical tests, it was found that they had consumed the drug.

A case against them was registered at the rural police station. Policemen are investigating.
