Training Programme in Painting held at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Fine Arts Association of St Philomena College Puttur organized Training Programme in Painting and Evaluation of EC/CC Activity on October 1, 2016 in Spandana Seminar Hall.

 

Ms. Chaithra K S, Department of Chemistry participated as the resource person. She said, ‘The arts have the capacity to engage everyone. There are no barriers of race, religion, culture, geography or socioeconomic levels.’

Prof. Vishnu Bhat, Vice Principal, in his presidential address said, ‘The fine arts provide learners with non-academic benefits such as promoting self esteem, motivation, cultural exposure, creativity, improved emotional expression, as well as social harmony and appreciation of diversity.’

The convenor of Fine Arts Association Mrs. Varija M and co-convenor Mrs. Deepika Sanil coordinated the programme.

Ms. Sahana Rao presented the prayer song. Ms. Lavita Ramya D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Ms. Rakshitha B R proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Priyalatha M compered the programme.
