Training on self-defense for girls at Crossland

Brahmavar: Mr. Karthik S. Kateel, CEO and Founder Swaraksha for Women Trust, Kateel demonstrated the self-defense techniques for the girl students of Crossland College.

 

The programme was organized by the women’s forum of the college. Mr.Karthik, a black belt holder in Karate with the help of his mother Mrs. Shobalatha an alumna of the college demonstrated the techniques to be used for self-defense.

He explained the difference between good touch and bad touch. He cautioned the students to use the techniques in an emergency and made clear that these are small techniques having nothing to do with karate.

The 2 hour session was appreciated by the students. The session ended with a question answer session.Mrs.Stinny K.P,Lecturer in charge coordinated the programme.
