Two Nitte students to attend summer school in Germany, Indonesia

Mangaluru: Two students of final year Mechanical Engineering of NMAM Institute of Technology Nitte, Glan Weston Crasto and Johnston Aranha will participate in the summer school courses titled 'Systematic Product Innovation' organised by International Academy of RWTH Aachen University Germany, at Aaachen from June 12 to 23.

The students will further undergo 'Green Drive' summer schools on 'skills and knowledge to design tomorrow’s vehicles' at Institute of Technology, Bandung Indonesia from July 2 to 15.

'Green Drive' is a project of the University of Antwerp in Belgium which is running a two years master’s degree in sustainable automotive engineering through a consortium of European universities.

"NMAM Institute of Technology is an academic partner of the University of Antwerp in the Green Drive programme in which the students of Green Drive project can carry out their project work at Nitte," informed a communique issued by Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal of NMAMIT.
