Two arrested for posting pro-Pakistan slogans

Puttur: Two college students were arrested by the town station police personnel on Wednesday March 23 over pro-Pakistan slogans. They had allegedly posted 'Pakistan Zindabad' and 'Victory to Pakistan' slogans on WhatsApp.

The accused students are Safan from Sattikal and Abdul Rashed from Savanurk.

They had reportedly shared the above WhatsApp posts during the India-Pakistan cricket match held on March 21. The police, who came to know about this, took them into custody.
