Two fined for fishing in temple lake

Sullia: Two persons who caught fish from the temple lake at Todikana, Sullia, were arrested by the police. The persons from Andhra Pradesh origin have been frequently visiting the temple from the past few days.

They caught about 20 mahseer fishes and tried to decamp with the same. The temple staff caught the thieves and handed over to the police.

The miscreants were later made to confess their crime before the presiding deity of the temple and pay the penalty.
