Two people die in Car-bike collision near Uppinangady

Mangaluru: Two persons died on spot after a car rammed into their bike at Bedrodi near Uppinangady on Monday November 7.The Deceased have been identified as Akshatha (25) and her brother Shivananda (19), residents of Neerapaade in Balthila Village.

Akshatha and Shivananda were on their way to Golithottu to attend a relatives function. When they reached Bedrodi, Wagon R Car rammed the bike, killing both on spot.

Due to the collision both the vehicles veered off the road and toppled. People in the car Shivayya, Kamalamma, Harsh, Shubhasri and Sarvamangala residents of Hassan sustained injuries and shifted them to private hospital.
