Two year old child dies after falling in pond

Puttur: In a tragic incident on Tuesday, a two-year-old child fell into a pond accidently and died. Shourya, son of Sudarshan and Ashwini is the deceased.

Shourya lived with his mother and father in Bengaluru. He was dropped at his maternal grandparents’ house for holidays by Ashwini. It is gathered that Shourya’s grandfather had brought him out into the garden and later dropped him back to the house.

Shourya had followed his grandfather who had gone back to the garden for some work and fallen into the nearby pond. A case stands registered at Puttur city police station.
