Udupi: Bharathiya Janatha Party Udupi Block observed BJP Founders’ Day at Udupi district BJP office at Kadiyali here on Wednesday, 6th April, 2016.

Speaking with BJP workers, Raghupathy Bhat, former MLA of Udupi said that BJP has been growing very strong in the country which will be the first largest political party in the world. Jana Sangha which was the root for the party in the country, now developed very strong and one of the best recognized national party. He said that the party workers under Jana Sangha leaders formed the party and were able to form city council in Udupi under the leadership of late Dr. V. S. Acharya which is the first in the country. He called the BJP workers to work hard to keep the party strong in the country. He gave some statistics how the party has grown in the country.

Udupi District President of BJP, Thingale Vikramargun Hegde said that Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s 150th Birth Anniversary is to be celebrated in district with grand manner. From 14th April to 24th April various programmes to be organized on behalf of birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar. It will be happy to say that one of the schedule caste candidate will be getting the post of a President of the Udupi Zilla Panchayat. He called the party workers to work hard in canvassing Kaup Town Council elections and teach lesson to Vinayakumar Sorake.

State Working committee member, Udayakumar Shetty, State BJP Secretary, Shymala Kundar, BJP district Vice President, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, District Secretary, Kuthyar Naveen Shetty, Yuva Morcha President, Ranjit Salian and other senior leaders were present.
