VRL bus meets with accident, 16 injured

Honnavar: A VRL bus coming towards Mangaluru from Mumbai overturned at Gunavanthe on Wednesday. 16 persons sustained injuries.

All the 16 injured persons have been shifted to a hospital at Manipal. 4 of them are said to be serious. 2 of them have serious injuries on hands.

Bus overturned while overtaking another vehicle. Bus had 31 passengers. Injured were mainly who occupied the seats on the left side of the bus.

Out of the 16 injured, 7 were women and 9 were men.
