Valedictoy function of ‘Pratibha - 2016’ held at St Philomena PU College Puttur

Puttur: St Philomena Pre-University College Puttur organized valedictory function of ‘Pratibha - 2016’ - District level competitions for High School students at 3.30 pm on September 14, 2016 in college auditorium.

 

The Head Master of St Philomena High School, Puttur Mr. Oswald Rodrigues was the chief guest. In his address, he said, ‘Inter school competitions helps the students to exhibit their talents. The students must accept success and failure in true spirit. Failure is the stepping stone of success.’

The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro in his presidential address appealed the students to become men and women of creativity.

‘Pratibha - 2016’ consisted of Clay Modeling, Quiz, Science Model, Folk Dance, Best out of Waste, Pencil Sketch, Product Launching, Seminar Presentation and Collage Making.

Vivekananda English Medium High School Puttur emerged as the overall champion of ‘Pratibha - 2016’. Bethani English Medium High School Puttur secured the First Runner up and Sudana High School Puttur secured the Second Runner up in ‘Pratibha - 2016’.

The Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo graced the occasion. The Chief Coordinator of ‘Pratibha - 2016’ Mr. Prashanth Bhat P presented the details of prize winners. The faculty members Mrs. Sumana K proposed the vote of thanks and Mrs. Dimple Jenifer Fernandes compered the programme.
