Vasundhara Kamath conferred PhD by Nalsar University of Law

Mangaluru: Vasundhara Kamath S of the city has been conferred the coveted Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by the prestigious Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad for her thesis titled ‘Copyright in the internet – with special reference to the legal issues relating to online file sharing’ prepared under the guidance of prof Dr Vivekandan V C.

The degree was handed over by justice Ramesh Ranganathan, chancellor of the university and acting chief justice of Hyderabad High Court in the august presence of the chief guest, his Justice T S Thakur, chief justice, Supreme Court of India and prof Faizan Mustafa, the vice chancellor of the university during the 14th annual convocation of the university held on Saturday August 6 at Justice City, Hyderabad.

Vasundhara Kamath is an alumnus of St Agnes Institutions, St Aloysius College and SDM Law College, here where she did her BA, LLB course. She did her LLM at Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad and subsequently has served as member of the faculty at MATS University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh and Christ University, Bengaluru.
