Dharmasthala: Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala Dr D Veerendra Heggade has pledged his support to the ongoing fight against the injustice done to the state with regard to the Cauvery river water sharing issue.

He also urged the activists to resort to peaceful means of protest without causing any damage to private or public properties. "All Kannadigas should unitedly join hands in the fight for the cause and stressed the need for a non-violent means of agitation," he said.

Heggade also shunned the notion that the people of Dakshina Kannada were not supporting the cause of Cauvery.
