Vehicle kills 45-year-old man near city bus stand

Udupi: In a tragic incident, a person died near Udupi bus stand in the morning, on October 18, when a vehicle passed over his head.

An Assistant KSRTC unit inspector, Devappa Naika (59), saw the 45-year-old man

with a wrecked head near Aralimara Katte on Tuesday morning, October 18 and

informed the police. The police learnt that a vehicle going to the KSRTC bus

stand ran over his head.

As it was morning, the person and the vehicle which caused the accident are not known. A police case is registered in Udupi traffic police station.
