Vespers Day – Celebration of word of God in Kundapur

Kundapur, Nov 30: On Tuesday, the worship of word of God was celebrated at the Holy Rosary Church in Kundapur. Palanquin procession of Holy Rosary was a part of the celebration.

“The word of God is the support to a life which is like a boat” was the theme of this worship. Rev. Fr. Victor Dsouza the parish priest of Tallur Church conducted the rituals and in his message he said, “Rower should guide the boat to reach the shores safely. In the same way, we should seek guidance from the holy book and from the words of God to headway in life. You should transform your life. Your achievements will be a waste if you do not help the needy”.

 

Rev.Fr. Stany B.Lobo – rector of Kallianpur Cathedral, Rev. Fr. Lawrence Dsouza – Chief secretary of Udupi Diocese Catholic Educational institutions, Rev. Fr. Denis D’sa-P.R.O of Udupi Diocese, Rev. Fr. John Pius Dsouza – Religious Episcopal priest, Rev. Fr. Anil Dsouza Dean of Kundapur Deanery, Rev. Fr. Gerald Sandeep D’mello – assistant priest of Kundapur Church, Rev. Fr. Praveen Amrith Martis – the principal of St.Mary’s Junior College and most of the priests belonging to churches of Kundapur Zone participated in this ritual.

Johnson Almeida-vice president of the church committee proposed the vote of thanks. The Secretary Felcian Dsouza, members, ward leader, sisters were present during this worship. A large crowd of people belonging to other religions participated in this fest.
