Mangaluru: Vikas PU College Boys and Girls team won the first place in Mangaluru City Taluk level inter-college Kabaddi tournament jointly conducted by pre-university education department, Mangaluru, Sarswath Education Trust, Mangaluru and Ganapati Pre-University College, Mangaluru, held at Ganapati Pre-University College ground.
Both the teams qualified to contest in the district level tournament.
Krishna J Palemar, chairman of Vikas Education Trust, Dr Ananth Prabhu G, advisor, trustee J Korgappa , principal T Rajaram Rao, Parthasarathi Palemar, co-ordinator, Ayshwarya Rao, Commerce in-charge, Ramesh Poojary, physical director, Akash, coach, and Sunitha, coach along with team members congratulated the winners.
