Vinay Kumar Sorake praises Tipu Sultan during Tipu Jayanthi

Udupi: Vinay Kumar Sorake, Kaup MLA and former District in-charge Minister inuagurated Tipu Jayanthi programme in Udupi. District in charge minister was not present on the occasion.

"Tipu Jayanti is being celebrated since three years all over the state. The assembly election is nearing and the opposition parties are opposing the Tipu Jayanti celebrations, for vote bank politics," said Vinay Kumar Sorake, Kaup MLA and former District in-charge Minister.

"If we see the history, large numbers of Muslims are supporting Hindus and helped for the development of the Hindu temples. Haji Abdulla of Udupi donated oil to Sri Krishna math during the Lakshadeep occasions. Muslims supported the temple of Bappanad, at Mulki," he said.
