Vocation Day held at Sacred Heart Church, Madyanthar

Harvest is pleanty but the labours are few, pray to the LORD of the Harvest to send to His vineyard Holy and Generous Servants. And it has been proved by the faithful of Sacred Heart parish Madanthyar, which witnessed in the History of its existence that this parish produced more than 120 priests and nuns over these 125 years.

 

It’s a moment of rejoicement and celebration, for the manifold blessings showered of the families who offered their daughters and sons to work in the vineyard of the lord. Today all over the Nation and to the ends of world, the offsprings of this parish serves the poorest of the poor, being the missionaries of the Gospel.

Vocation day was held, on 30th of April to commemorate and rejoice. Most Rev. Dr William D’Souza SJ Archbishop of Patna presided over the Holy Eucharist, concelebrated by hundreds of prelists and religious.

It was a feast to the eyes, to witness hundreds of religious gathered under the mantle of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus giving glory to the might God for blessing them in His mission of love. The celebration was elited with a sumptuous Agape Meal prepared and served for the whole gathering.
