Vocational Education Training programme held at SIT

Mangaluru,: A three week Internship/Vocational Education Training programme on ‘Embedded systems and Java & J2EE’ was inaugurated on Monday, July 9 at Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT). The internship programme is being conducted by CloudE Technologies, Mysuru for the third year students of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.

The chief guest of the function Mahesha Padhyana, managing director, CloudE Technologies, Mysuru in his inaugural address urged the students to contribute to the society by focusing more on implementing the applications of Engineering. Radhakrishna Bhat, CloudE Technologies, Mysuru was the resource person of this internship programme.

Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college in his speech stressed the students to avail the maximum benefits by actively participating and involving themselves in the programme.

Prof Shivakumar G S, head of the department, Computer Science and Dr Sooryakrishna K, head of the department, Electronics & Communication were present.

The programme was welcomed by Prof Harshavardhan H, faculty coordinator, department of Computer Science and the vote of thanks was delivered by Rakesh Mallya, assistant professor, department of Electronics & Communication.
