Woman and child end life jumping into pond

Kasargod: A woman and her 6-year-old child drowned after they jumped into a pond near Mogral on Saturday. The deceased are identified as Mariam(45)wife of Abdulla, a resident of Chowki Kambar and her daugter Murshidha(6).

Maraim along with Murshida had left home saying they are going to nearby plantataion, but did not return home. Locals noticed Mariam struggling for life rushed to rescue, but could not save her. The search operation is goign to trace Murshidha .

A case has been registered for further investigations. The reason for Mariam to take this step is not knwon yet.
