Woman commits suicide after her daughter leaves house

Kundapur: In a tragic incident, a woman from Yadadi-Matyadi village ended her life by hanging herself reportedly on account of agony arising out of the fact that her daughter had left home on her own. The deceased is Seeta.

Her daughter Lalita had gone missing all of a sudden about three months back. Later, she told her mother that she had run away on her own, and was at Bengaluru, but did not return home. Seeta, who was very much attached to her daughter, was feeling mentally exhausted.

Out of frustration arising from grief, she hanged from a tree standing in the land owned by the family. A case about the unnatural death was registered at Kota police station.
