Woman wants complaint to be filed against owner of dogs

Kasargod: A woman has complained to the police at Badiyadka that some dogs killed her chickens and cases should be registered against the owners of the dogs. Sakina, wife of Muhammed from Chimilaka, is the complainant.

Sakina owns a chicken farm. She has mentioned in her complaint that the dogs belonging to neighbours Hariprasad and Sundara entered the sheds where chickens were housed and killed around 250 chickens. She has mentioned that her losses stand at approximately Rs 50,000 because of the killing.

The police have registered cases against Hariprasad and Sundara. It is not known what type of action will be taken against the owners for the offences committed by their dogs.
