Young girl assaults senior citizen

Udupi: A young girl allegedly assaulted a senior citizen at Kothalakatte near Kaup. The senior citizen Gopala (64) a resident of Kothalakatte is the victim. Deepika is the person who assaulted Gopala.

Deepika came to the house of Gopala and asked for Chetan, son of Gopala. Deepika is said to be a friend of Chetan.

But at that time Chetan was not at home. When Gopala told Deepika about this, she got angry with him and used abusive words against him. Subsequently, she assaulted Gopala. Gopala later went to Kaup police station to complain. Police are investigating the case.
