Young lawyer dies in accident near Puttur

Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a young woman who was practising as a junior lawyer under anadvocate in Mangaluru, has lost her life in an accident involving a Maruti WagonR and a KSRTC bus at Sampya near Puttur.

The deceased woman is Gayatri (23). She was travelling in the WagonR which was driven by Yogish who too has sustained injuries in the mishap. The car was proceeding at great speed and recklessly. It hit the bus in a bid to overtake other vehicles.

Gayatri who was critically injured in the mishap died later in the evening at a private hospital. She was the daughter of Jinnappa Gowda from Kantramajalu in Kula village of Bantwal taluk.
