Young man committed suicide at Santhekatte

Udupi: An unidentified male aged around 30 years committed suicide at Santhekatte, Kallianpur, Opposite of Robosoft Technologies here on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2016.

It is to be belived that the extreme step was taken last night by climbing a tree which is about 35 feet high and tying a nose around his neck using a nylon rope.

Udupi Town Police arrived at the site with officer K. Prakash and arranged to lower down the dead body using the help of Fire Brigade personnel at around 11.30 am.

The dead body was taken for post mortem with the help of Ambulance by Nithayanda Olakkadu, Social activist. The incident has been taken up the Udupi town police for further investigation.
