Udupi,: The District Youth congress staged a protest on Tuesday by locking up the Udupi Head Post Office and alleged that the Union Government led by Narendra Modi which promised to create job opportunities has failed to fulfill this promise.

State Youth Congress Secretary, Umesh Bore Gowda said, " Narendra Modi had promised 2 crore jobs a year. The Narendra Modi led NDA government failed even to give 10% of promised employment for the youths since three years. The GDP too has reduced and the nation’s economy has completely collapsed. The Union government is not introducing any new scheme ,except for renaming the schemes of the previous UPA government."

Vighnesh Kini, District Youth Congress Secretary said "This union government failed to create jobs for the youths. The present unemployment rate in the country is highest in the last eight years. The slogan of Narendra Modi and BJP that Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas become now turned as Sabka Sath Sabka Vinash. Narendra Modi’s empty promises and gimmick is leading to total failure in governance."
