Youth drowns in private swimming pool at Darbe

Puttur: A 19 year old youth met a watery grave in a private swimming pool at Darbe on December 6, Tuesday. The deceased youth is Karthik Rai, a second year B.Com student of a college in Puttur. He was the son of Gangadhar Rai and Savitha couple from Alankar near Puttur.

The allegation that is now being heard is that the carelessness of the management of the private swimming pool was the reason behind the mishap. It is also being said that precautionary measures are not in place in the swimming pool resulting in such tragedy.

However there is some sources which say he died of heart attack. The deceased youth was also a promising cricketer.
