Youth tried to stab himself inside police station

Kasargod: A youth tried to end his life by stabbing himself with a sharp piece of broken glass. The accused happens to be Abdul Karim K M from Pulkur House in Siribagilu village.

Abdul had been arrested by policemen led by Vidyanagar police sub-inspector, Ajit Kumar. He was accused of consuming intoxicants and creating problems for the general public at IAD Road in Uliyathadka on Friday.

At the police station, Karim suddenly broke the glass of a window and stabbed himself with a splinter. He was immediately admitted to the government hospital. A fresh case of breaking window glass of police station thereby causing loss of Rs 3,000 to government property was registered against him.
