Bengaluru, 22nd October 2017: The Times of India in collaboration with OPPO brings the 10th edition of the most coveted personality and talent hunt across colleges in India, OPPO Times Fresh Face 2017. India’s largest inter-college talent hunt contest is held across 11 cities and numerous colleges; they recently concluded rounds in Bangalore’s Forum Mall, Koramangala on 21st October, where Anchal NG & Kanishk Rai won the city finale round.

Anchal NG’s display of her contemporary dance won the judges over while Kanishk’s singing made the audience and judges sing along. Contestants were judged based on their talents, the way they carry themselves, their knowledge on current affairs, etc. by the esteemed panel of judges including Actress Pranitha Subhash, Kannada Rapper Alok Babu & Ms. Beena Sondhi.

Speaking about the talented lot at the city finale round, popular actress Pranitha Subhash said, “When this OPPO Times Fresh Face Contest happened in my college, I was really young, I was in plus one. This is the one thing that I have to give credit to the contestants for that in this very same event that took place in my college, but I didn’t have the guts to go on to stage & take part. That just shows how these guys are bold & confident & I think this has been proven well enough after seeing them performing here. I would really like to thank the team who is doing this, right from the looks, they are so good at it, they know how to showcase and already know how to engage the audience, gather their attention, even now I do not know that I think. I had to learn all this it while I was doing my job. It feels amazing to be a part of this contest!”

Speaking about the her judging experience the city finale round, popular actress Pranitha Subhash said, “It was really exciting to judge the talent here at OPPO Times Fresh Face, I must say it was really a tough competition. I was lucky that I had 4 other judges to help me out with this, and as we all know Bangalore has been like a bank of beauties, good looking people for rest of India to find & I am sure this platform will do the same, just like last year, Bangalore is going to win this year as well”

City winners will compete nationally at the Grand Finale, which will be hosted in Mumbai. The two national winners will be awarded an OPPO F3 Selfie Expert Dual Selfie Camera phone and an international trip.

OPPO Times Fresh Face has become an expansive talent-pool where each year students have showcased some exceptional skills while following the theme of this edition – What is your Fresh Factor?
