Chennai, (IANS) : Singer-actor Andrea Jeremiah has replaced Akshara Haasan in filmmaker Mysskin's Tamil crime thriller "Thupparivaalan". According to a source, Akshara opted out of the film due to non-availability of dates.

"Akshara was originally signed for the project last year. She accepted the offer because she was told the shooting will commence from last November. However, following the postponement of the shoot by a few weeks, she had to join the sets of Ajith's yet-untitled project," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The source added: "As she couldn't manage her dates for both the projects, she chose to exit aThupparivaalan' as she had already commenced shooting for Ajith's film."

Andrea has been brought in as Akshara's replacement and she has already started shooting.

Nearly 60 percent of the film has already been wrapped up.

Actor Vishal plays a detective in the film.

The film also stars Prasanna, Anu Emmanuel and veteran filmmaker K. Bhagyaraj.
