Bollywood actress Sonakshi joins John Abraham in "Force 2"

Mumbai, Jul 11 (PTI) Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will be paired opposite John Abraham in "Force 2" to be directed by Abhinay Deo.

The film, an action drama, is a sequel to 2011 film "Force", which starred Abraham in cop's role.

"We have cast Sonakshi in the film. She is paired opposite John. She is the correct choice. I can't talk about whether she will be seen as a married woman or not," Abhinay told PTI.

"His (John's) role will continue (as a cop) but he will solve a new case. Its a new a script... a new story. I am doing my best and the rest is upto the audience," the "Delhi Belly" helmer said.

Sonakshi, 28, is set to play a RAW agent in the film and earlier took to twitter to announce the news.

"Yep yep! Told you I had news for you... Super excited to be playing a RAW agent in my next film - FORCE 2," Sonakshi posted on twitter.

The film will go on floors in September.
