Challenging to design for nurse's role in 'Remo': Anu Parthasarthy

Published On : 01 Oct 2016

Chennai (IANS) : Costume designer Anu Parthasarthy says it was extremely challenging to work on the costumes for actor Sivakarthikeyan, who will be seen in the disguise of a nurse in upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy "Remo".

"Although I enjoyed designing for the nurse character, it was equally challenging. It is not easy to portray a man in a woman's profile. But with the support of my entire team, I did it. I worked on minute details like buttons on the skirt and accessories like a pearl pendant to portray the look in a more realistic way," Anu said in a statement.
Directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh.

Talking about the experience of working with Sivakarthikeyan, she said: "He is such a wonderful artiste. He would sit patiently for hours, especially while trying out the nurse's costume. It was a treat to work with him."

The film is slated for worldwide release on October 7.
