Bengaluru: Kannada actor Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi have got a warning from the Karnataka State Commission for Women over their marital discord. The commission, which had registered a case on its own based on media reports of the discord between the celebrity couple, has warned them against indulging in a war of words.
The couple told the commission that they would resolve their disagreements in consultation with elders. They said they were concerned about the future and well-being of their son. The commission has warned them against repeating the fight.
On Wednesday, Darshan and Vijayalakshmi appeared before the commission separately and recorded their statements. Vijayalakshmi appeared before the commission around 10.30 am and recorded her statement. Darshan arrived at the commission’s office around 6.30 pm, recorded his statement in seven minutes and left.
