Emraan shoots romantic song with Prachi for 'Azhar'

Mumbai, Nov 28: Actor Emraan Hashmi, who is currently busy with his upcoming film "Azhar", a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, says he is shooting an "awesome romantic" song with actress Prachi Desai after their last film "Once Upon a Time in Mumbai".

The "Ghanchakkar" actor took to Twitter to make this announcement and also added that the track is composed by Pritam.

"Back to 'Azhar' shoot! Shooting for a song with Prachi after "Once Upon a Time In Mumbai". Got an awesome romantic track by Pritam," Emraan tweeted on Friday night.

In the film Emraan, will be seen playing Azharuddin.

The film will narrate the highs and lows of Azharuddin's life as the captain of the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s and being tainted by a match-fixing scandal in 2000, and getting banned for life.

Directed by Tony D'Souza, "Azhar", which is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Picture, also stars Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles and is slated for a worldwide release on May 13, 2016.
