Published On : 28 Oct 2015

Mumbai, Oct 28 (PTI) Actress Katrina Kaif has been approached for a chick flick to be directed by Sonam Kapoor's sister Rhea.

Gossip mills are abuzz that Katrina is considering the offer of the film and would soon sit for a film narration session.

"She has been approached for it. She has not heard it (script) yet. She is yet to take a call," sources said.

Rhea Kapoor has produced films like "Aisha", "Khoobsurat" and the upcoming "Battle For Bittora", all starring Sonam in the lead role and the yet-to-be-titled film would mark her debut as a director.

Reportedly, the film is on the same lines as Zoya Akhtar's "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", except this one would have girls in the lead roles.

The film may also star actresses Huma Qureshi and Anushka Sharma.

Katrina would be soon seen in Abhishek Kapoor's adaptation of Charles Dickens' book "The Great Expectations", titled "Fitoor". She had also been busy with the shooting of Nitya Mehra's "Baar Baar Dekho" and Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos".

It may be noted that Katrina and Sonam are endorsing the same cosmetic brand.
