Naomie Harris wants Daniel Craig to return as James Bond

Published On : 09 Oct 2016

London, (PTI) Actress Naomie Harris has sent out a plea to Daniel Craig to return as James Bond.

Craig, 48, has played the suave spy in four movies in the franchise - "Casino Royale" in 2006, "Quantum of Solace" in 2008, "Skyfall" in 2012 and "Spectre" in 2015.

However, he called a potential return to the films into question when he said during an interview last year that he would rather "slash his wrists" than reprise the role for a further movie.

Since then, stars including Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner and James Norton have been linked to the part, but one person keen to see a comeback from Daniel is Naomie, who plays Eve Moneypenny in "Skyfall" and "Spectre", reported Contactmusic.

"He's an extraordinary actor and I think he's the best modern Bond that we have had and I desperately want him back.

Come back Daniel," Harris said.

"Of course I want to be back with Daniel, I started with Daniel. When I was nervous on my first day, it was Daniel who calmed my nerves.
